Magic: The Gathering’s sets just keep on coming, but the good news is that as Wizards of the Coast turns its metaphorical eye to the next set, the game’s older ones see price drops.

It’s not always the case (Final Fantasy is back up there, sadly), but we’ve found a bunch of Play Booster Bundles, including the upcoming Secrets of Strixhaven one, at a discount.

Looking to fill some gaps in your collection?

January’s Lorwyn Eclipsed is also on sale, with a box of 30 packs down to just $118.99 - a 28% discount on the list price for a pretty great set.

Sticking with 2025 sets, Edge of Eternities was (tragically) overlooked in favor of the middling Spider-Man set, but if you missed out on it, you can make up for your error in judgment with a box of 30 packs for $155.26 - a slight discount on the list price.

Rounding out last year’s offerings, you can pick up a box of Tarkir Dragonstorm boosters at a 10% discount.

The set was, in my humble opinion, pretty darn great, particularly as someone who loves to build dragon-centric decks.

$148.80 for 30 packs?

I’m tempted.

It's worth noting that these are Play Boosters, which (as the name suggests) are ideal for playing with.

The rarest cards in each set, though, are found in Collector Boosters.

Given these cost much, much more because they include alternative art treatments and additional chances to grab rare cards, we'd still recommend Play Boosters as a way into the hobby, or if you're just looking to build up a sizeable collection of cards without spending crazy money.

If you do look to play Magic as a game (and you really should, it's great!), then these packs will stand you in good stead since they're all in the current Standard rotation - so have fun building decks!
