Denver Broncos fans are on a high after news broke that the team has agreed to a trade with the Miami Dolphins for wide receiver Jaylen Waddle.
But some of these fans may not be all that surprised.
That is because on Monday, former Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib told you this was coming.
Speaking with Skip Bayless on the Arena: Gridiron show, Talib had this to say:
“[The Broncos] will have a new explosion player on offense” @AqibTalib21 thinks the Broncos will make a big splash to bolster their offense 👀 pic.twitter.com/9H6aPPzm6Q — The Arena: Gridiron (@ArenaGridiron) March 17, 2026

"We will have an offensive...new explosion player on offense, just know that Skip.
Just remember, I told you that, alright Skip.
I'm just telling you, Skip, when it breaks, just hell yeah, 'Lib said that", said Talib.
Less than 24 hours later, the Broncos have that "explosive" player in the building.
That is the definition of calling your shot.
Talib is one of the most respected players in recent Broncos history.
A member of the team from 2014-17, he was selected to the Pro Bowl in each of those seasons.
He was also a huge piece of the team that won the Super Bowl in 2015.

Brown trade
Now working on the media side of things, Talib is earning his stripes as an analyst.
Or maybe he just had some inside information.
Either way, people will likely take what he says much more seriously going forward.
