Druski draws backlash over latest parody video mocking MAGA women

The comedian went viral last year with another video of himself made up to look white
Controversial social media comedian Druski has provoked backlash online with his latest video titled: “How Conservative Women in America act.”
The 31-year-old influencer, whose real name is Drew Desbordes , has a history of making provocative videos.

Last September, he went viral with another clip where he wore prosthetics and make-up to look like a white NASCAR fan.

That video was titled: “Guy who is just proud to be an American.”
In his new video , Druski wears similar prosthetics and make-up, only this time appearing as a white woman.

He portrays the character holding a mock press conference about the war in Iran, being interviewed while clutching a Bible, participating in a pilates class and ordering a “sweet cream foam chai iced matcha” at a drive-through.

The clip ends with another press conference where the character states: “We have to protect all men in America, especially all white men in America,” while a Black security guard eyes the character suspiciously.

The video has been criticized by many social media users who believe Druski is explicitly mocking Erika Kirk, whose husband, Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk, was shot dead last year.

On X, one user wrote : “The NASCAR video was funny.

It was harmless humor and that’s why most white people didn’t care.

This is too far though.

Beyond the blatant racism, you’re mocking a widow who had her husband assassinated in front of the world.

Imagine a white person dressing up as a ‘black liberal women’ to mock them and posting it on the internet…”
Another added : “Could you imagine the reaction if a white comedian did this to Michelle Obama or Kamala Harris?

The outrage would be instant and nonstop.

And let’s not forget, neither of them had their husbands assassinated in front of a crowd and then watched by billions around the world.

And to be clear, I’m not easily offended.

I love movies like White Chicks and Tropic Thunder .

I don’t care if people dress up as different races.

But this isn’t comedy.

It’s just distasteful and grotesque.”
However, many of Druski’s fans defended the skit and praised the comedian.

One wrote :“Druski’s makeup and costume design team is truly UNDEFEATED!

First the insanely realistic NASCAR disguise, then the Megachurch Pastor, and now this wild "Conservative Woman" parody?!

Give his entire glam and wardrobe department an Emmy right now.”
The top comment on YouTube anticipated the backlash, with a fan writing : “They not gon like this one.”
