The Philadelphia Eagles bested the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl last year, and now they’ve stolen an explosive pass-catcher away from the Chiefs in free agency.
According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz , the Eagles are signing wide receiver Hollywood Brown to a one-year deal worth up to $6.5 million.
Brown spent the last two seasons in Kansas City after he spent the first three years of his career as a member of the Baltimore Ravens and the next two with the Arizona Cardinals .
In 2025, Brown caught 49 passes for 587 yards and five touchdowns for Kansas City.
Over the course of his career, he's tallied 371 receptions, 4,322 yards and 33 TDs.
The Eagles added Brown following the departure of wide receiver Jahan Dotson, who signed with the Atlanta Falcons in free agency.
In Philadelphia, Brown will join a receivers room that already includes A.J.
Brown and DeVonta Smith.
He'll likely be penciled in as the team's WR3, though his role could potentially expand if [A.J.] Brown is ultimately traded.
Overall, getting an explosive receiver with big-play potential like Brown at a reasonable rate is a solid addition for the Eagles offense.
