Former EastEnders star Toby-Alexander Smith has said his ‘heart has doubled’ following the birth of his second daughter.
The actor, who played Gray Atkins in the BBC One soap, is in a relationship with Amy Walsh, who plays Tracy Shankley in Emmerdale.
The couple already have a daughter together called Bonnie, who was born in 2021.
The black and white image is of Toby walking down a hospital corridor.
He is holding Bonnie’s hand on one side, and a car seat with the little tot in the other.
‘My heart has doubled’, he wrote in the caption.
She wrote: ‘This time last week I was heading into established labour.
‘We’ve been in the most magical bubble ever since.’
Isabel Hodgins, who recently became a mum herself for the first time, wrote: ‘Amazing!!’.

In the video which confirmed Amy’s pregnancy, her nephews joined her daughter on a staircase, as text on the screen asked if Bonnie will still be the only girl in the family.
Alongside the sweet video, which clearly showed the family’s elation at the gender reveal, Amy wrote: ‘New addition to the family incoming!’
As the video transitioned to a poolside gathering, the question of whether Amy is having a boy or a girl was answered when a kicked football exploded into a cloud of pink smoke, and the words, ‘Girl power coming in 2026’, appeared on screen.
Amy and Toby have been together since 2019.
They met in the audience of a Strictly Come Dancing episode.
Both actors were in the front row, Amy supporting Emmerdale castmate Kelvin Fletcher, and Toby supporting co-star Emma Barton.
The couple have discussed how ‘fate’ brought them together, as Kelvin wasn’t originally supposed to be in the line up, but replaced Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing after he broke his ankle.
The couple got married in 2023.
Over in Emmerdale, Tracy will soon leave the village in order to facilitate Amy’s maternity leave.
The resident looks set to sell her house and move elsewhere with daughter Frankie, following a year that’s seen Tracy come to terms with the loss of partner Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), who was murdered by John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth).
