We’ve said it before, but we’ll say it again, we love a new romance in Emmerdale.
With all the cancer, false imprisonments, baby betrayals, workplace bullying, and attempted murders in the village, there’s got to be space for love.
Ask and you shall receive – there’s some brewing amongst two characters who have already had a little dalliance in the past, but this time maybe it will stick.
Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) is incredibly astute at reading people and is also not bad at matchmaking, having noticed a little something brewing between his brother and his brother’s ex last year and got them speaking again.
So, when he picks up on something between two potential lovebirds, you know he’s onto something.
He spots a flirty moment between Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor Draper) and Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah).
Being the straight talker that he is, he is likely plotting how to address this directly with his pal Kammy and motivate him to actually make a move.
He might even get some help from Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), who had previously tried to orchestrate a meet cute for these two.
The potential couple had been exploring a relationship last Autumn after Belle’s divorce had been finalised, but after a bit of a rocky start, they ended up friend zoning each other.
Perhaps it was just a case of wrong place wrong time and things are coming back around.
New Emmerdale power couple on the cards?
The Dingles are certainly going to need some kind of happy distraction when Charity’s (Emma Atkins) baby betrayal comes to light.
