England’s Missy Bo Kearns reveals she lost her baby in heartbreaking statement

England and Aston Villa ’s Missy Bo Kearns has revealed that she and her partner, the Luton midfielder Liam Walsh, have lost their child during pregnancy.

Kearns, 24, and Walsh, 28, announced they were expecting their first child in a video posted to social media earlier this month.

The couple had revealed a September due date.

Aston Villa, who signed Kearns in 2024, offered their condolences in a statement.

“We are sending all our love and support to Missy Bo and Liam at this difficult time,” it said.

Luton Town added: “We send all our love and support to Liam, Missy Bo, and their families at this deeply sad time.”
A former Liverpool skipper, Kearns made over 100 appearances for the Reds before moving to Aston Villa.

She also captained England’s Under-23s and was named on Sarina Wiegman’s stand-by list ahead of Euro 2025, which the Lionesses won last summer.
