Chelsea cantered into the FA Cup semi-finals with a 7-0 demolition of Port Vale .

A fine strike from Joao Pedro and own goal by Jordan Gabriel made it 3-0 at the interval, and Chelsea’s advantage only continued to grow in the second half.

Tosin Adarabioyo, Andrey Santos, Estevao and Alejandro Garnacho all found the net to seal the Blues’ biggest win of the season.

Standard Sport’s Dom Smith was at Stamford Bridge to rate the Chelsea players’ performances…
A clean sheet and one that was as easy as you like.

Had nothing to do.

Assisted Tosin for Chelsea’s fourth goal, was involved in the third, and defended diligently.

A routine game for the ball-playing centre-back.

Did not have much difficulty to deal with in terms of Port Vale’s threat.

A similarly routine day for Tosin defensively, and he got on the scoresheet with a good header.

Scored his third goal of Liam Rosenior’s reign to set Chelsea off on their way to a handsome victory.

Looked a little disappointed not to be given the full 90 but did well enough and important minutes in the legs.

Really threatening in the second half after a quiet first 45.

Grabbed one assist, struck the woodwork twice, and finally had his deserved goal when his tap-in - initially adjudged offside - was checked and awarded by VAR.

Unfortunate that what he thought was his goal went down instead as an OG for Gabriel.

Took up some good positions but didn’t make it on to the scoresheet as captain.

Set up Joao Pedro’s goal and did pretty well out on the right before making way for Garnacho on the hour mark.

Took his goal superbly to bring up 19 for the season in all competitions.

A striker’s finish and performance, dominant in the air from flick-ons.

Occupied the No10 position when he came on, which was a surprise.

Looked nervy at first but grew into the game.

Alejandro Garnacho (Neto, 61’) 6
Blazed over when he should have scored and then hit the post and was lucky it evolved into a helping hand for Estevao.

Then scored a confident penalty which he had won.

Put himself about but did little else.

No impact.

Ryan Kavuma-McQueen (Lavia, 78’) N/A
A short cameo but a deserved senior debut for Chelsea’s academy starlet.

Josh Acheampong (Gusto, 85’) N/A
Not used: Sharman-Lowe, Cucurella, Sarr, Caicedo.
