And I would...
Except it is $45.
No, this is not a bit.
It's called the "Glizzilla," which I have learned comes from a slang word for hot dog "glizzy" and "Godzilla", a kaiju originating in his titular 1954 film.
The Glizzilla has been brought into this world by the Colorado Rockies (a Major League Baseball team for those who don't follow baseball, but may still follow hot dogs).
Glizzilla is 23 inches long (58.42 cm), which is longer than two Nintendo Switch 2s placed end-to end, and about as long as one-and-a-half PS5s.
If you set it upright vertically, it would be almost as tall as a Charmander, or three Digletts (basically a ground hot dog) stacked.
The bun is 19 inches long, just a little longer than a Dachsbun, a Pokemon somehow not at all associated with hot dogs.
Bleacher Report says the whole thing weighs one pound .
It seems the Glizzilla can be served with a variety of toppings, likely self-administered, as it is being sold at baseball games.
I have seen videos of it with ketchup, mustard, relish, mayo, and onion.
The Rockies recommend having two people consume one Glizzilla together, which immediately invokes images of eating an enormous hot dog like Lady and the Tramp eat spaghetti in their movie, but you could probably also just cut it in half like a normal person.

If you have $45 to blow on a novelty hot dog for a bit, you can find them at the Colorado Rockies' games in Section 157.
Throughout the park you can also purchase other fine delicacies such as a "Pizza Donut" (self-explanatory) and the now widespread 9-9-9 Challenge, kicked off by infamous hot dog eater Joey Chestnut , where you attempt to consume nine beers and nine miniature hot dogs across nine innings.
Chestnut has not weighed in as to whether the controversial "dunking" strategy is acceptable for completing the challenge.

I'm done writing about the big hot dog now, but as a Royals fan I did have to poke my head in and see what weird food they're serving up this year and I'm now thinking I should have written this about this thing called the "hot dog Wellington" which The Pitch helpfully describes as, "A footlong all-beef hot dog, wrapped in prosciutto, duxelles, and finished with a golden brown puff pastry intended to satisfy." You can get it at Rivals, over in right field.
If you want to.
I will not be doing that.
45 regular $1 hot dogs it is.
Happy baseball season, everyone!
