Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Wednesday’s (April 8) episode that is now available to view on Channel 4 streaming.
The episode in question will air on E4 on at 7pm.
Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) has never been an angel but her latest act is grim even by her standards as she lied to Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) about who really pushed Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix).
Fan-favourite villainess Clare, who returned from the dead after 12 years last May, met her match at the hands of equally brilliant villain Sienna, who pushed her from as cliff into the icy depths below.
The moment in question was witnessed by confused daughter Sophie, whose own behaviour was recently called into question after she claimed to ‘hate’ baby brother Joseph, not to mention hitting another boy at school.
Cleo, meanwhile, arrived at the scene of the crime to see Clare falling into the water, but failed to see her girlfriend – who has killed before when she claimed the life of fan-favourite Ethan Williams (Matthew James Bailey) – pushing her.
With speculation rife in the village about what happened to Clare, both Sienna and Cleo plus Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) were hauled in for questioning.
They all stuck to the same story – that Clare simply fell.
Given the weather conditions on the day in question not to mention how close the character was standing to the edge, it’s not an entirely unbelievably narrative but Warren was sure there was something that Sienna wasn’t telling him.
And he wasn’t the only one, with Cleo confiding in Donny Clark (Louis Emerick) that she thinks Sienna might have had a hand in Clare’s alleged demise.
Warren, who perhaps knows Sienna better than anyone, cornered his former flame, quizzing her on the events of the previous day.
When she failed to offer up an alternative version of events, Warren instead decided to confront Sophie, which horrified Sienna and, forced into a corner, she claimed that it was their little girl that pushed Clare to her death.
Horrified, Warren wondered if they’d created a monster but in a bid to keep her secrets hidden Sienna urged him not to tell anyone about what she had told him.
Warren agreed.
Cleo, meanwhile, had questions of her own and thus asked Sienna outright if she pushed Clare, claiming her story didn’t add up.
Fed up of being asked the same question, Sienna instead decided to take a different approach with Cleo and claimed that it was she who pushed Clare.

‘Do you really not remember?,’ she said to a horrified Cleo, stating that she did lie to the police but that it was only to protect her from going to prison.
Cleo was reeling.
The nurse, as viewers know, is only just out of hospital following a diagnosis of postpartum psychosis.
When Joseph suffered a seizure earlier this year, Cleo was led to believe that she hurt her own baby and struggled to know what was real.
Will Sienna use Cleo’s confusion and diagnosis to manipulate her into believing that she claimed Clare’s life?
Is this the beginning of a return for sly Sienna?
If so, just how far will she go?
