Rockets vs.

Hawks Injury Report

Coming into the game this evening, both teams should have most of their main guys available to play.

Of course Houston will be without Fred VanVleet and Steven Adams, but we’ve come to expect that for a while now.

Jonathan Kuminga will be the only significant player on the Hawks missing action tonight.

Houston Rockets:

Out: Jae'Sean Tate (right knee sprain)
Out: Steven Adams (left ankle surgery)
Out: Fred VanVleet (right knee ACL repair)
Out: Tristen Newton (G League/Two-Way)

Atlanta Hawks:

Out: Jonathan Kuminga (Left Knee Injury Management)
Doubtful: Asa Newell (G League Assignment)
Doubtful: RayJ Dennis (G League/Two-Way)
Doubtful: Keshon Gilbert (G League/Two-Way)
I am personally a little disappointed that Jonathan Kuminga won’t be suiting up tonight, but the Hawks have proven they don’t necessarily need him to win games.

They’re looking to win their 12th straight game tonight and Kuminga has only played in six of those so far.

Whether he’s on the court or not, Atlanta hasn’t lost a game in exactly a month.

Their last loss came against Miami on Friday, February 20th.

From being scheduled to hit the road for the Play-In Tournament, to safely in the playoffs with the 6th seed, they’ve completely flipped the script.

Looking at Houston’s side of things, they've had a turnaround of their, but this one has been in the wrong direction.

Rather than climbing up the standings, the Rockets’ recent performances have continually dropped them down the ranks.

With every game being increasingly more impactful for playoff positioning, Ime Udoka and his team should be highly motivated to win tonight.

Snapping a team’s double digit win streak could be great for team morale, helping Houston recover after a rough couple of weeks.
