Hollyoaks stalwart, James Sutton played John Paul McQueen, on-and-off, for 20 years, rocking up as a member of the iconic clan in 2006, before finally saying goodbye to the most dangerous village in the North West earlier this year.

He was later bullied, harassed and violently raped by Finn O’Connor (Keith Rice) in a harrowing plot line upon his return, that saw him imprisoned temporarily before finally getting justice, reporting Finn and seeing him sent to prison for his sickening crimes, bringing his second stint to a close.

John Paul’s third stint saw him embroiled in a domestic abuse plot with new boyfriend, George Kiss (Callum Kerr), ending with his murder at the hands of JP’s mum, Sally St.

Claire (Annie Wallace), before he fell into the grips of alcoholism, got into a toxic relationship with crazed conversion therapist, Carter Shepherd (David Ames) and married serial killer Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield) before leaving the village a final time to reunite with his son, Matthew Jesus.

Yeah, the poor guy had endured a lot.

Outside of starring on the Channel 4 soap, James had previously created a podcast, Male Mind Matters, launched Protocol, a self-help service and now, months removed from his ‘Oaks exit, has created an OnlyFans account.

Though he’s promised to remain on the safe-r side of the site, his biography certainly contains a little bit of spice: ‘This is a bit mad isn’t it.

Actor.

Writer.

Speaker.

Very often undressed.

‘Underwear, jockstraps, gym content, and the chat.

No full frontal, but I show off as much as I can get away with.

I run this page myself, so when you message, you’re messaging me.

DMs are open – for chat, and for the content that doesn’t go on the wall…
‘Glad you’re here.’
DailyMail reported that the site would offer: ‘unfiltered access to [James’] training sessions, programming breakdowns, physical changes, and the reality of maintaining a strong body in your forties’.

‘James will also use the platform to continue conversations around men’s wellbeing and fitness, building on themes from his podcast Male Mind Matters, and bringing honest, personal content to an audience that already engages with his work on identity, self-trust, and what it means to look after yourself properly.’

James himself added: ‘OnlyFans felt like a natural next step for me.

James previously spoke to DailyMail about his reasoning for leaving Hollyoaks, admitting that ‘the heart was ripped out’ of the show, following the enormous cuts inflicted on it by Channel 4, which saw its 5, 30 minute, weekly episodes reduced to 3 offerings of 20 minutes.

Around 20 cast members were axed from the show, with about a third of the crew losing their jobs as well.

‘So many of the crew had been there for years, so it really was an awful time.

And I do feel like a lot of the heart of the show had kind of been ripped out’, he said.

‘It was more about the crew that left, who were all local.

Actors come and go, it’s part of the job.

But the crew, some of them had been there since the Brookside days, so it was heartbreaking.

‘Scousers are hilarious, warm, generous and incredibly talented.

To lose all those people, I do think the energy of the place has never recovered.

It used to be something quite special going to work, but sadly that all changed.

I accepted the situation for what it was, and thought I’m going to use it in the most positive way I can.’
