From March 26 to April 4, there’ll be 100,000 £50 coupons to unlock via the Lidl Plus app, as well as some extra goodies, including Easter treats and money off coupons.

To be within a chance of winning, all shoppers need to do is open up their Lidl Plus app and crack open their virtual Easter egg to reveal their prize.

The £50 vouchers aren’t the only jackpot available, as they’re joined by £5 coupons as well as ones offering entirely free products.

There’s no need to spend any money just to play, either, as it’s free to take a peek inside the app’s Easter egg.

However, the coupons need to be activated before they’re used, and the deal will have an expiry date on it.

This isn’t the first time Lidl has decided to give back to its customers.

To mark the launch of its 1,000th store, back in November, the budget supermarket gave shoppers the chance to win a £100 voucher.
The retailer gave away various limited-edition Lidl gingerbread kits, some of which were decked out with the prizes.

And, to sweeten the deal, the kits were modelled on the look of the newly-opened East Grinstead store.

This Easter, Lidl has also treated shoppers to a few new seasonal products – many of them available from the famous bakery, which sells 122 of the All Butter Croissant, a fan favourite, every single minute.

The Mini Egg Brownies have made a comeback, featuring a brownie base, a layer of chocolate on top, and pieces of colourful crushed Mini Eggs (the Lidl own-brand version, rather than the Cadbury chocolate).

If this weren’t enough, Lidl is also giving bakery fans another exciting treat, as it’s turned some of its most popular bakery items into Easter eggs for 2026.

If you’ve not got the app downloaded but want to shave off a few pennies, we recently spoke to an expert about the supermarket mistakes that are actually making your weekly shop even more expensive.

It sounds obvious, but Cathrine says you’d be amazed how many people don’t actually know what’s in their cupboards, fridge and freezer.

Aldi has little-known ‘secret’ shops across the UK with even cheaper food

Did you know there are ‘secret’ Aldi shops around the UK that sell products for an even lower price than usual?

Well, if you didn’t, now you do.

They exist, but there’s a big catch…
Most Brits aren’t able to visit them as they’re not open to the general public.

Known as colleague shops, these little-known stores are for Aldi staff members only, and are located inside the retailer’s 11 distribution centres.

The shops are intended to give staff the chance to buy discounted products that can’t be sold in regular stores, in a bid to reduce food waste.

According to Aldi, the food products are safe for consumption and help prevent an estimated 240 tonnes of food waste per year.
