A dramatic day on Friday saw Labour lose control of London with a series of devastating losses.

Zack Polanski’s Green Party won control of Waltham Forest, while also winning mayoral races in Hackney and Lewisham.

Meanwhile, Nigel Farage’s Reform UK take control of its first borough in the capital by winning Havering, but lost key targets as the Conservatives held both Bexley and Bromley.

Labour Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is under mounting pressure this morning, his party losing control of Westminster and Wandsworth among others.

But there are still more results to come on Saturday, with four borough’s council results to be announced.

Which London council results are still to come, and when will they be announced?

Lambeth were expected to announce all seats yesterday, but still have 23 seats to report.

At 9am on Saturday, with 40 of the 63 seats claimed, the Greens are in a strong position with 21 seats.

Labour have claimed 12, with seven for the Liberal Democrats.

32 seats are needed for a majority, so the Greens can clinch that with 11 of the remaining 23.

The count will resume at 10am this morning, with final results probably coming at some point this afternoon.

Croydon will remain a Conservative council, with Jason Perry retaining his role as mayor of Croydon in an incredibly close race.

Mr Perry took 30.67% of the vote, pipping Labour’s Rowenna Davis (29.72%) into second.

The Green Party’s Peter Underwood came third with 16.59% of the vote, with Reform UK’s Ben Flook taking 12.37%
The council has 70 seats, which will be counted today.

The results are expected around 4pm.

The Green Party’s Liam Shrivastava won the race to be mayor of Lewisham, receiving 40.4% of the vote, edging out Labour’s Amanda De Ryk with 34.8%.

The council’s 54 seats will be reported today, with results expected around 4pm.

Lutfur Rahman of the Aspire party won the race for mayor of Tower Hamlets, retaining the seat he has held since 2022.

Mr Rahman got 38.75% of the vote ahead of Labour’s Sirajul Islam with 21.13%, and the Green Party’s Hirra Khan Adeogun with 20.88%.

The council’s has 45 seats, with results expected to be confirmed around 6pm.
