For the thrifty among us, there’s nothing quite like a mooch around a car boot sale.
Nestled amongst strangers’ unwanted items, will be vintage gems and pre-loved treasures, and the feeling of finding a real bargain?
It’s unmatched.
If you’re on the lookout for designer fashion steals, then there’s one car boot that you simply cannot miss.
The #SheInspiresMe sale at Selfridges might just be London’s fanciest car boot sale – and it’s returning for one day only in 2026.
What can you expect at the car boot?
The charity car boot sale has been running for the last 10 years, and those who have attended it have hailed it as ‘legendary’ and the ‘bougiest car boot’.
And when they say it’s bougie, they aren’t kidding.
Last year’s sale featured items from Jimmy Choo, Needle & Thread, By Rotation, RIXO, Nobody’s Child, French Connection, Sara Blonstein, The Cirkel, Charlotte Tilbury, and Selfridges.
And if that weren’t enough, it also has a bar where you’ll find glasses of fizz – because what luxury shopping experience is complete without this?
Where and when is the sale?
It takes place inside the Selfridges car park on May 16, spanning two floors and ‘overflowing’ with ‘brand new, past-season, and pre-loved fashion’ by some of the biggest brands, designers, stylists and fashion editors.

According to the organisers, all of this comes at ‘exceptional prices’, but before you get your hopes up too much, prices will still be a little higher than what you’d find at your average car boot.
On TikTok, those who visited in 2025 claimed they purchased RIXO dresses for £100 instead of £200+, while Manolo Blahnik shoes set them back £250; although brand new, these can retail for over £1,000.
But the best part?
If you do fall in love with an item and want to treat yourself, any money you spend will be going towards a good cause, with the sale supporting Women for Women International.
This is a charity that helps women survivors of conflict rebuild their lives, and over the last decade, the sale has raised more than £2.2million for women and girls living in some of the world’s most dangerous places.

How to get tickets
The catch is that the car boot isn’t free to attend; you have to book a ticket for a time slot, and sadly, many of the early entry tickets are sold out already.
The sale is running from 12 pm until 6 pm for one day, and currently, only slots after 3:45 pm are left.
Tickets start from £15.72, but get pricier the earlier your entry time is.
So, for instance, a 4:30 pm entry is £15.72, but a 3:45 pm entry will cost £20.96 per person.
Tickets are available to buy now.
