Maura Higgins reveals gutted £1,250,000 Essex mansion as renovations begin

Just under two years ago, Maura Higgins bought a luxury mansion in Essex, complete with a sleek kitchen and a sprawling garden.

Maura, 35, is planning to relocate to the US to appear on Dancing With The Stars later this year, so it’s the perfect time to give Casa A’Maura a refresh.

‘Finally breaking the silence over here!!!

It’s chaos right now,’ she wrote on Instagram.

‘But give me a minute before and afters are going to be worth it.’
Maura revealed the ‘main bathroom’, adding she is ‘very excited for my sauna.’
Originally, the house featured a modern grey kitchen with a large island and views through large French doors into a manicured walled garden.

Despite the renovations, Maura is thought to be planning a big move to the US, having appeared on their version of the Traitors.

A source previously told The Sun: ‘Maura may have missed out on the cash prize on The Traitors but that’s small change compared to what’s coming her way.

‘Shows and brands in the US are lining up for a piece of Maura and she’s got more opportunities than time right now.

It’s an exciting place to be.’
They reported she could secure a multi-million-pound payout as beauty brands look to snap up the star.

Maura hosted Love Island USA: Aftersun, as well as guest appearing in the main American show, to first break through.

Her celebrity status is rising, with Maura having been invited to the Golden Globes in LA, partying with major stars like Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence.

She’s also reportedly in talks to make her acting debut in The Spin, a Disney project, as well as a potential fly-on-the-wall docuseries.

‘Dancing With the Stars was already on it from the year before.

However, I added five more Dancing With the Stars on the board.’
Maura revealed: ‘I shed a tear, which I don’t normally do.

I never really get overly excited about stuff unless it’s something I really have been wanting for quite some time, and Dancing With the Stars is that.

I manifested it.’
