Oasis pictured in rare backstage shot for reunion tour photography book

Four distinct editions of the book are scheduled for release from May 2026, each featuring a foreword penned by photographer Simon Emmett
Liam and Noel Gallagher , the famously feuding brothers of Oasis , are seen smiling together backstage in a new photograph set to feature in an upcoming book chronicling their reunion tour .

The image offers a rare glimpse of camaraderie between the siblings, whose reconciliation has captivated fans.

The collection, The Oasis Live ’25 Opus , is a photographic journey through the Britpop band’s world tour, featuring behind-the-scenes snapshots of the group and their fans.

Created in collaboration with the Gallaghers, the photos were captured by Simon Emmett, who also shot the initial reunion tour announcement image of Liam and Noel side by side.

Emmett described the significance of the imagery: "When I saw the reaction to the photo, it was obvious to me that this wasn’t a single event.

The photograph was the beginning of something.

I felt strongly that this needed to be documented.

There was no facade, this was genuine."
He added: "I just hope that in some small way that it has captured the essence of joy of it."

The very first copy of the Supernova Edition, numbered 001, will be put up for auction on November 19 at the Legends Ball at Grosvenor House, with proceeds benefiting the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Jane Ashton, head of music and entertainment at Teenage Cancer Trust, expressed gratitude for the band's support.

She stated: "This is such a special fundraiser for us as Oasis have been huge supporters of the charity for almost 25 years, and we’re so very grateful to them for choosing us to receive the proceeds from the first edition...

I know that the sale of this first edition will help us be there for more young people who need us, when they need us the most."

Oasis first performed for the charity in 2002.

The Oasis reunion tour was announced in August 2024, 15 years after their dramatic 2009 split, which famously followed a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival.

The rock band has achieved eight number one singles and albums in the UK charts, with iconic tracks such as 'Wonderwall', 'Champagne Supernova', and 'Some Might Say' among their most celebrated hits.
