Two of April’s most anticipated games can be picked up cheaper than anywhere else in the UK, but you’ll have to do it before launch.

While this month isn’t stacked with obvious big hitters, there are two games which could end up ranking amongst 2026’s best.

The first is Capcom’s sci-fi oddity Pragmata, where you hack and shoot your way through an AI-riddled space station as human astronaut Hugh and accompanying android Diana.

We’ve previewed the game a couple of times now and came away more impressed each time, so we’re hopeful the final game will live up to expectations.

The other is Saros, the spiritual successor to Returnal from developer Housemarque.

As a follow-up to the best exclusive on the PlayStation 5, it’s already a potential Game Of The Year candidate, and this one has all the makings of being a bigger crossover hit.

Pragmata is slated to launch April 17 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, while Saros arrives exclusively on Sony’s console on April 30.

If you’re looking to secure a copy of either at launch, your cheapest option is one specific UK retailer.

At Currys, you can knock 10% off the standard price if you pre-order Saros or Pragmata ahead of their respective release dates.

This means you can grab Capcom’s shooter for £41.39, or Housemarque’s bullet-hell romp at £58.49.

At the time of writing, this is the cheapest price available across both titles.

Pragmata is £41.99 across all platforms at the likes of Amazon and Argos, while Saros is going for £64.99 at most stores.

If you have cash to splash and want to play Saros two days early (from April 28), you can buy the Digital Deluxe Edition for £79.99.

This includes the main game, armour cosmetics, and 48 hours early access, but it is only available on the PlayStation Store.

There is a Deluxe Edition for Pragmata too, priced at £59.99, but this only comes with a Shelter Variety Pack and a Hugh & Diana Outfit Set.
