Resident Evil Requiem has been updated today with a major new patch that adds the game's photo mode, plus other improvements.

Capcom had previously announced a photo mode was coming to Requiem as the first of the game's major post-launch additions, though had not said when it would arrive.

Happily, the offering is now available today, with a new update that's available across PC and consoles right now.

Other additions in today's patch includes an improvement to character expressions in some cutscenes which have "been adjusted to better convey emotion." Is Grace going to be even more unhappy that she was stuck hanging upside down?

Of course, Capcom now has much more in store for the game, too — including a full story expansion and the addition of a "mini game" in May that fans expect to be the latest incarnation of the franchise's popular Mercenaries mode.

What will Requiem's story add-on focus on?

Fans are hoping to finally get a glimpse at Leon's frequent frenemy (and maybe now wife?!) Ada Wong, though Capcom is still keeping its cards close to its chest.

"In this story," director Koshi Nakanishi previously teased of the expansion, "we will delve deeper into the world of Requiem.

We're hard at work on it now.

It will take some time, so we ask for your patience and hope you'll look forward to it.

Thank you again for all your support!"
Until then, here are today's full patch notes:
