Radio presenter Scott Mills has been sacked from his BBC Radio 2 show after allegations over his ‘personal conduct’.

A statement from the BBC said: ‘While we do not comment on matters relating to individuals, we can confirm Scott Mills is no longer contracted to work with the BBC.’
The 53-year-old presenter was one of the highest-paid at the BBC, with a salary of £315,000 to £319,999 in 2024 after replacing Zoe Ball.

He officially took over the Breakfast Show in late January 2025 after Zoe stepped back in December 2024, having hosted for six years.

Gary Davies, 68,took Scott’s usual slot this morning, confirming he would be ‘in for Scott until Thursday this week’.

It read: ‘I wanted to personally let you know that Scott Mills has left the Breakfast show, and the BBC.

I know that this news will be sudden and unexpected and therefore must come as a shock.
