Commuters are facing disruption across parts of London’s Underground network this morning, with severe delays reported on the Elizabeth line and sections of the Tube.

On the Elizabeth line, services between Hayes & Harlington and Reading are subject to severe delays as engineers carry out urgent track repairs at West Drayton.

The rest of the line is operating a good service, but passengers travelling through the affected stretch are being advised to allow extra time.

Meanwhile, on the Metropolitan line, there are severe delays between Moor Park and Amersham train cancellations.

Transport officials say the next southbound service from Amersham is not expected until 07:15am, leaving passengers facing significant waits.

Elsewhere on the line, services are running normally.

The District line is also experiencing disruption, with minor delays between Parsons Green and Wimbledon following an earlier signal failure at East Putney.

Services across the remainder of the line are reported to be running as usual.

Passengers are urged to check before they travel and consider alternative routes where possible.

Lines reopen after Bedford–Luton trespass incident
All lines have reopened following an earlier trespass incident between Bedford and Luton.

Services may still be delayed by up to 20 minutes, cancelled or altered while timetables recover.

Elizabeth line disruption expected until the end of the day
Trains between Reading and London Paddington may be delayed by up to 10 minutes, cancelled, or subject to changes.

Disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day, please allow extra time for your journey.

No service is running between Bank / Tower Gateway and Poplar / West India Quay on Wednesday, April 8.

Passengers are advised to use the Jubilee line, Elizabeth line and local London Buses instead.

No eastbound trains stopping at Barons Court until June 7
Passengers travelling eastbound from the station are advised to take a westbound District or Piccadilly line service and change at Hammersmith for an eastbound train.

Those heading to Barons Court eastbound should travel on to West Kensington (District line) or Earl’s Court (Piccadilly line) and switch to a westbound service.

IFS Cloud Cable Car running a good service
The IFS Cloud Cable Car is currently running a good service.

Severe delays are in place between Hayes & Harlington and Reading while urgent track repairs are carried out at West Drayton.

There are services on the rest of the line are running as normal.

Delays on Waldram Crescent as temporary lights installed for utility works
Traffic is moving slowly along Waldram Crescent, with delays expected in the area.

Temporary traffic lights are in place at the junction with Perry Vale to allow Thames Water utility works to be carried out.

A10 High Road (both directions) at the junction with B153 Philip Lane currently has temporary traffic signals in place.

Metropolitan line resumes good service

District line resumes good service
