It’s April 1, so I hope you’ve braced yourself for what you’re going to see on social media.

For the next 24 hours, you’ll have to second-guess every post you see, as it’s likely nothing more than an April Fools’ joke.
The biggest brands out there will be pulling a fast one over on you, making fake announcements and showcasing products that don’t exist, leaving you desperately trying to work out what’s real and what’s not.

And honestly, we wouldn’t be mad if some of these did exist, but sadly, they’re all hoaxes.

Before you fall for any of them, here’s a look at some of the best jokes of 2026 we’ve seen so far…

The Heathrow Express Training Train

All aboard!

This one is a spoof collab between Heathrow Express and PureGym, who have unveiled the UK’s first ever ‘training train’.

This is a 15-minute service which transforms the trip from Paddington to Heathrow into a ‘high-energy fitness experience, giving passengers the chance to stretch, squat and sweat their way to the terminal’.

During this fictional journey, PureGym personal trainers will be on hand to help passengers with a whistle-stop workout, with ‘overhead locker lifts’, ‘luggage lunges’, ‘passport pocket squats’, and ‘gate sprint drills’.

The concept is designed to make ‘every minute count’ as why sit back and simply relax when you could be curling your way to your flight check-in?

Warburton’s Crust & Curl

Two big brands, Warburtons and Only Curls, came together to create a (very fake) limited-edition product known as Crust & Curl Defining Gel.

The inspo?

That age-old adage that eating crusts will make your hair curly.

The gel is said to smell like a bakery, with the scent of warm toast and Sunday mornings, and is designed to ‘create a strong cast, enhance curl definition and add soft volume’.

Terry’s Emergency Segment

You’ve likely seen the viral Rhode phone case, which can hold a lip gloss… well, Terry’s Chocolate is putting their own spin on it for April 1.

The Emergency Segment Phone Case is their most ‘iconic and unexpected innovation’, which is described as the world’s first phone case designed to carry chocolate.

The blue and orange case houses one segment of Chocolate Orange, meaning that you’ll never be caught without your fave choc.

And in case you were wondering, yes, the phone case does have ‘anti-heat-proof-hyrdro-technology’ to keep the chocolate from melting, no matter what.

Dyson’s Airwrap Fur

Dyson very cleverly started teasing its April Fools’ joke ahead of time, making it look like they were launching something that would give you a luscious head of hair.

But what you couldn’t tell is that the photo they posted was actually of a dog…
The selection includes The Airwrap Fur for cats, The Airstrait Mane+Tail for horses, The Airwrap Top Coat for canines, and The Supersonic Dapper for ‘dailling up the volume on poodle curls’.

Asda’s adult trolley seats

Some people love doing the grocery shopping, while others detest it.

If you fall into the latter category, you might want Asda’s April Fools’ joke to become a reality.

The supermarket chain has revealed mock-ups for adult-sized trolley seats, which are quite literally an entire reclining armchair built into a trolley, complete with drink and snack holders, of course.

The retailer claims they’ll be rolling out in stores ahead of the big Christmas shop, but we won’t hold our breath…

Let Them Cook…

The Royal Albert Hall really wants to get Gen Z’s attention, so they’ve announced a new season of events, entitled Let Them Cook.

This will include a looksmaxxing contest (supposedly hosted by Eamonn Holmes), as well as Doomscrolling in Concert and Aura Farming in Hyde Park.

Heinz Matcha Mayo

Heinz never fails to create a weird and wonderful product for April Fools’, and this year they’ve made something that some people might actually want to try… Matcha Mayo.

Teaming up with PerfectTed, the bold green twist on a classic sees classic Heinz mayonnaise mixed with the earthy, vibrant flavour of matcha.

Ryanair’s end of an era

The budget airline is known for being jovial and often pokes fun at itself, but in a post online ahead of April 1, it seemed this was all coming to an end.

They added: ‘From now on, we will be adopting a more corporate and professional approach in our communications.

Thank you for the last few years.’
We’ll see how long this lasts…

Choccybel

Chocolate and cheese?

Together?

It’s a yes from Babybel, apparently.

The iconic cheese brand has teamed up with Monty Bohangles to reimagine the iconic snack in chocolate form.

The peelable cheese has a cocoa-dusted truffle exterior and was reportedly developed over 18 months by a team of flavour specialists and ‘peel engineers’.
