Former Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham has thanked her family and friends for a “most magical” birthday.
The Essex-born star turned 52 on Friday, with her husband, former England footballer Sir David Beckham , paying tribute to “the one and only Posh Spice”, while their sons Romeo and Cruz also sent their birthday wishes.
Lady Beckham posted on Instagram: “Dream big then dream even bigger.
“The most magical day with my family and friends.
Thank you for all your love and kindness.
I feel so grateful.”
The fashion designer did not receive any messages or mentions from her eldest son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, with whom she and Sir David have an ongoing family feud.
The couple also have a teenage daughter, Harper , with Lady Beckham reposting a photo of them embracing during a meal to celebrate her birthday on her own Instagram stories.
Sir David poked fun at his “working class wife” posting a photo of her as a young girl standing in front of a Rolls-Royce on Instagram on Friday.
He also posted a series of photos of the couple over the years, as well as during her days as a Spice Girl in the 1990s.
Sir David said: “Happy birthday to the one & only Posh Spice.
“We love you so much and we will make sure you have the most special day because as the best wife, mum, friend & of course gym partner you deserve too.
Happy Birthday.
We love you.”
Romeo posted a more recent photo of himself and Lady Beckham with her arms around him.
He said: “Happy birthday mum.
Love you so so much.
Have the best day.”
Cruz chose to post an image of himself as a toddler being carried in his mother’s arms.
He added: “Happy birthday @victoriabeckham, I love you.
You inspire me every day.”
A message was also left on the Victoria Beckham Beauty Instagram account, saying: “There’s only one @VictoriaBeckham.
To our founder and creative director, a very happy birthday.”
Lady Beckham spoke about the feud with Brooklyn for the first time this week in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.

She said she and Sir David “love our children so much” and have “always tried to be the best parents”.
The high profile couple were accused by Brooklyn of “trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding” in a social media post in January, which also saw him allege his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham had been “disrespected” by his family.
Asked about the situation, Lady Beckham told The Wall Street Journal: “I think that we’ve always – we love our children so much.
“We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be, and you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children, and you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”
It comes after social media posts saw Brooklyn add that he did not want to “reconcile” with his family, having accused Sir David and Lady Beckham of prioritising “Brand Beckham” over all else and controlling narratives in the press.
Despite the feud, Sir David and Lady Beckham took to Instagram to wish Brooklyn a happy birthday in March.
