After a strong freshman campaign with the Washington Huskies, Morgan Reimer has picked up right where she left off in the circle as the ace of coach Heather Tarr's pitching staff.
On Thursday, Big Ten Network analyst Sydney Supple named Reimer one of her Big Ten softball stars of the season, as Reimer, who has also stood out on the international circuit with Team Canada, has posted some gaudy numbers.
Her 14 wins are tied for the second-most in the nation behind Florida's Keagan Rothrock, who has 16 wins on the year.
On top of that, her 1.37 earned run average is good for No.
3 in the Big Ten, while her .222 batting average against ranks No.
13 in the conference.
She's been a reliable workhorse throughout the season, as she leads the Huskies with 82 innings pitched and 64 strikeouts, as coach Heather Tarr's team is currently holding a 13-game winning streak.

Over that stretch, Reimer, who has also thrown six complete games this season, has earned eight wins while she has allowed 10 earned runs in the process, working 39 innings over that stretch as the Huskies have found their groove after facing a difficult nonconference slate.
With the toughest part of their Big Ten schedule looming, including a trip to Oregon in mid-April before the vaunted UCLA Bruins come to town, Tarr should lean heavily on her ace as the Huskies look to make a deep run in the postseason following an early exit at the NCAA Regionals in 2025.
Reimer should be expected to enter the circle once again on Friday afternoon when Washington kicks off a three-game series on the road with the Michigan Wolverines on Friday, March 20, at 2:00 p.m.
