Microsoft has announced an Xbox Partner Preview showcase for this week, featuring The Expanse: Osiris Reborn and Stranger Than Heaven.

Following the Xbox Developer Direct in January, Microsoft has announced an Xbox Partner Preview showcase for this month.

The broadcast will air Thursday, March 26 at 5pm GMT on Xbox’s YouTube and Twitch channels, with a ‘focus’ on upcoming games from third party partners.

In other words, don’t expect Forza Horizon 6 or Gears Of War: E-Day to show up.

Microsoft has spelled out some titles you can expect, including Like A Dragon developer Ryu Ga Gotoku’s new project, Stranger Than Heaven (previously known as Project Century).

Other titles explicitly mentioned include an update on S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

2: Heart Of Chornobyl, along with a new look at The Expanse: Osiris Reborn.

The action role-player, developed by Owlcat Games (Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous), was announced last year and is based on the sci-fi novel series by James S.A.

Corey – although some cast members from the TV show are also involved.

Microsoft states on a new Xbox Wire blog post there will be more titles beyond this, promising ‘new reveals, world premieres and Xbox Game Pass announcements’.

Since there’s no hint about any big surprises it seems unlikely any of the other games featured will be major reveals.

Although this showcase came out of the blue, with no rumours about it before its announcement, so it could be that Microsoft has got better at keeping secrets lately.

The last Xbox Partner Preview was in November last year, which featured 007 First Light, Reanimal, Tides Of Annihilation and other titles.

These showcases are typically held towards the end of the year, although one did air in March back in 2024.

Microsoft’s big Xbox Games Showcase usually happens in June, around the time E3 used to take place.

Summer Game Fest has taken over that role nowadays and starts this year on June 5.

This is the second Xbox presentation of 2026 so far, and comes after Sony’s first State Of Play in February.

Nintendo, meanwhile, has held a whopping six Nintendo Direct-style broadcasts over the past three months, with the last being dedicated to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

So far, though, none of them have featured any new first party announcements and it’s unclear whether we’ll have to wait for June for that.

We probably wouldn’t get your hopes up too much for this Xbox Partner Preview showcase, but Xbox has a strong line-up for this year.

Along with the aforementioned titles, Fable, Halo: Campaign Evolved and Kiln are all set to launch in 2026.

But since they’re first party titles you won’t be seeing more on them this week.
