Zendaya says she plans to ‘disappear’ as she addresses Tom Holland wedding rumours

Zendaya is the name on everyone’s lips right now — but that might all be about to change.

The 29-year-old actress is currently the queen of the small and big screens, starring in a string of shows and movies, all set for release this year.

The releases of Euphoria season 3, Dune: Part Three, The Odyssey, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day have resulted in a hectic promotional schedule.

But perhaps the most highly anticipated of all?

Her leading role in the new romance film, The Drama, alongside Robert Pattinson.

Zendaya has also been making headlines in her personal life, after it was rumoured that she and long-term partner, fellow actor Tom Holland, secretly wed.

So much work requires an equal amount of rest, though.

It’s why Zendaya has recently announced that she’ll be ‘disappearing’ for a while to take some well-earned time off.

In a new interview with Fandango, alongside The Drama cast, the Emmy-winner thanked her fans for their enduring support.

She also joked that, due to her many 2026 TV and movie credits, she hopes people don’t ‘get sick’ of her.

‘I really appreciate everyone who supports any of the movies [and] supports my career in any kind of way.

I’m deeply appreciative,’ she said.

Zendaya added: ‘I just hope you guys don’t get sick of me this year because I’ll tell you what — I’m disappearing for a little bit.

I’m going to have to go into hiding for just a little bit.’
However, the interviewer — who coined 2026 the ‘year of Z’ — insisted that no one is ‘getting sick’ of the star.

Rather, she told the actor that she wants her to stay around so she can witness Zendaya’s further rise to stardom.

Eagle-eyed viewers also noticed that the Euphoria star appeared to be wearing both her huge diamond engagement ring and a gold band on her wedding finger, adding fuel to the rumours that the couple did tie the knot.

The addition of the suspected wedding band was first spotted last month when she attended a Louis Vuitton show as part of Paris Fashion Week.

As for the glistening engagement ring, it’s a bespoke 5-carat+ cushion-cut diamond design from New Zealand-born, London-based jeweller Jessica McCormack.

The piece is estimated to be worth over £200,000.

Social media sleuths will know that Zendaya liked images of similar rings on Instagram way back in 2022, suggesting that she and Tom may have been talking about marriage for a while.

Despite their celebrity status, Zendaya and Tom have worked to keep some details of their relationship private.

In a recent appearance on The New York Times’ Modern Love podcast, alongside Robert Pattinson, she addressed the wedding rumours swirling online.
