Atletico Madrid vs Arsenal LIVE
A massive six days in Arsenal's season begins tonight with a Champions League semi-final first leg against Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano Stadium.

It is now successive campaigns in which the Gunners are among the final four of Europe's premier competition, and they will be looking to go one step further after falling at this hurdle 12 months ago.

Mikel Arteta's side, who turn their attentions back to the Premier League title race this weekend, have already beaten Atletico this season - a comprehensive 4-0 league phase win at the Emirates Stadium in October - and start the tie as slight favourites to reach a second-ever Champions League final.

While Atletico are well off the pace in LaLiga and lost the Copa del Rey final on penalties 11 days ago, they did overcome Barcelona in the quarter-final to keep their trophy hopes alive and, perhaps crucially, have previously knocked Arsenal out of a European competition at the semi-final stage.

Head to head (h2h) history and results
This will be just the fourth time Atletico Madrid and Arsenal have met in a competitive fixture, and they can't be separated on the head-to-head.

Atletico have been a potent force in attack with 34 goals in the Champions League this season.

Arsenal, meanwhile, have conceded just five goals in their 12 matches.

It feels like a game where both sides will cancel each other out.

Ademola Lookman trained with the squad on Tuesday but Diego Simeone is unsure if the Nigeria international will be fit to start.

Arsenal team news: Eze fit after injury scare
Arsenal have been boosted by the news that Eberechi Eze is available for selection after the midfielder was forced off early in the second half against Newcastle at the weekend.

Riccardo Calafiori is also set to return after missing the last four games.

Kai Havertz, however, is sidelined.

TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on TNT Sports.

Coverage starts at 7pm BST on TNT Sports 1.
