Mother of influencer who died in horror Soho crash speaks of 'unimaginable loss'

The mother of a social media influencer who died after she was allegedly mowed down by an X Factor finalist has spoken of her “unimaginable loss”.

Klaudia Zakrzewska – known as Klaudiaglam on Instagram – died on Saturday following the horror smash on Argyll Street, Soho six days earlier.

The social media influencer spent almost a week in hospital with her family by her bedside before she passed away.

Former X Factor finalist Gabrielle Carrington, 29, appeared in court last Tuesday charged with the attempted murder of Ms Zakrzewska outside a nightclub .

Ms Zakrzewska’s mother, Kinga, has since released a statement following her daughter’s death, saying she brought “light into our lives and that light will never fade”.

“As we navigate this unimaginable loss, I am committed to giving my beautiful angel the farewell she deserves, a service filled with love, dignity, and the grace that reflects who she was,” she wrote.

“Please continue to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

“Thank you again for standing beside us, for lifting us up, and for helping honour my daughter’s life.

Her love lives on in all of us.”
A Gofundme page has been set up for Ms Zakrzewska, which has raised almost £27,500, with the proceeds going towards her funeral and legal costs, as the family seek “the best possible representation to fight for her and her memory”.

Poland-born model Ms Zakrzewska, has more than 250,000 followers on Instagram, and frequently posted pictures and videos of herself at VIP events.

Carrington reached the X Factor live finals in 2013 as one of the three members of Miss Dynamix and now boasts more than 365,000 Instagram followers under the username RIELLEUK.

She entered no pleas during a court appearance last week and is due to appear at the Old Bailey on May 19.
