Liverpool vs Crystal Palace LIVE!

Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 3-1 in the Premier League at Anfield on Saturday.

The resurgent Reds are up to fourth in the table after a third consecutive top-flight win to follow their dramatic Merseyside derby triumph, leapfrogging Aston Villa after the latter’s lunchtime defeat by Fulham and now behind Manchester United on goals scored only, with their rivals meeting Brentford on Monday night before then hosting Arne Slot’s side at Old Trafford next weekend.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace highlights
Some nervy moments late on at Anfield but resurgent Liverpool rise above Aston Villa into fourth place with a third straight Premier League win.

They are now behind rivals Manchester United - who host Brentford on Monday night - by virtue of having scored only one goal fewer so far this season, with their goal differences identical.

The two sides go head to head at Old Trafford next weekend of course.

Liverpool will be hoping that Mohamed Salah injury is not too serious, while I’m sure Arne Slot will have plenty to say about that controversial Daniel Munoz goal.

Alexander Isak back on the scoresheet is a very welcome sight in light of Hugo Ekitike’s absence.

Certainly not a bad performance by any means from Crystal Palace, who stay 13th and six points adrift of the top seven with five games to go.

They travel to Bournemouth next weekend, but all eyes will first be on the first leg of their Conference League semi-final tie against Shakhtar Donetsk in Krakow on Thursday night.

GOAL!

Liverpool 3-1 Crystal Palace | Florian Wirtz 96'
Wirtz smashes off the post and into the back of the net after being teed up well by Mac Allister inside the box.

95 mins: Wirtz chases a long ball over the top and forces Canvot to play it out as the seconds tick down.

93 mins: A heart-in-mouth moment for Kerkez, who is almost caught out inside the Liverpool box.

Crystal Palace are pushing hard as Richards winds up another of his long throw-ins on the far side...

92 mins: Frimpong wastes a good opening for Liverpool and is then fouled by Sosa, who is booked.

89 mins: Sarr is taken down by Gravenberch and Szoboszlai boots the ball away, earning a booking.

We are going to have seven minutes of stoppage time at Anfield.

87 mins: Slot is sending on the fit-again Joe Gomez and Milos Kerkez for these final exchanges at Anfield.

85 mins: A yellow card has now been brandished in the direction of the Crystal Palace bench - not sure who that was for.

Szoboszlai whips in another free-kick from the left that inadvertently hits his own team-mate before bobbling wide.

Wharton releases Strand Larsen, whose low finish hits one post, rolls across the line and clips the other before being hoofed clear.
