As part of the Sonos Earth Day Sale event that ends on April 24, Sonos is offering an excellent price on one of its very best speakers.

The certified refurbished Sonos Arc soundbar has been marked down to just $399 with free delivery.

At this price you are paying $480 less than a refurbished Arc Ultra and still getting one of the best soundbars with Dolby Atmos capability.

Note that only the black model is in stock currently (the white one is sold out).

Sonos refurbished products go through rigorous testing and look and work as if they were brand new.

They come with all accessories, manuals, and documentation and are reshipped in "pristine" packaging.

Most importantly, Sonos includes the same 1-year warranty as buying a retail product.

Sonos Arc Soundbar (Refurbished)

The release of the Arc Ultra doesn't make the Arc any less of a great speaker.

The 45-inch soundbar houses eleven precisely engineered internal speakers, including three tweeters and eight midwoofers each paired with Class-D amplifiers.

It's capable of room filling audio by itself, but you'd still benefit from a separate subwoofer to round out the low end.

Unlike the Sonos Beam, which only has virtual height channels, the Arc has two physical height channels for true Dolby Atmos support.

The Arc also has a built-in microphone for smart assistant compatiblity, including voice control.

The refurbished Arc Ultra is also 20% off

Given the number of upgrades, the Sonos Arc Ultra should be considered more as a new class of flagship soundbar than a mere update of the original Arc.

At first glance, both look similar, with the same 46" long profile, but the internals are totally different.

Whereas the Arc featured a 5.0.2ch setup with eleven speakers and no sub, the Arc Ultra boasts an expanded 9.4.1ch setup with fourteen speakers including a four-motor, dual-membrane Sound Motion woofer for better bass response and low end.

This is a pretty significant upgrade alone if you don't plan on adding a discrete subwoofer.

The Arc Ultra also supports Dolby Atmos thanks to two dedicated up-firing tweeters for spatial audio and new AI enhancement technology to isolate and boost the clarity of dialogue and voices.

It has a built-in microphone so that it can be controlled using voice commands using your favorite smart assistant.

Pair it with a Sonos Sub

The audio savvy knows that a single speaker isn't enough to reproduce an entire soundstage.

If you could pick one more speaker to complement your primary soundbar or speaker, then a subwoofer would undoubtedly make the most meaningful impact.

The certified refurbished Sonos Sub (Gen 3) wireless subwoofer, normally $639, is down to just $409 with free shipping.

Compare that to buying a brand new Sonos Sub (Gen 4) for $899 and you're saving over 50% off.
