Bayern Munich face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-final tonight, needing to overturn a one-goal deficit to knock the holders out of the competition.

Eight days ago, Bayern and PSG produced a classic in the French capital as nine goals were scored in a refreshing display of attacking football - even if some of the defending was questioned by Wayne Rooney and Clarence Seedorf.

However, Bayern hit back through Dayot Upamecano and Luis Diaz to ensure this tie is on a knife edge heading into the decider at the Allianz Arena.

While a repeat of the first leg is unlikely, the onus is on Vincent Kompany’s side to be on the front foot and that could leave gaps for the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue to exploit.

Having said that, PSG are well aware of the danger that Diaz, Harry Kane and Michael Olise pose, and therefore will need to sharpen up defensively if they’re to progress.
