The following article contains spoilers from the episode of Emmerdale dated April 15.
It hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX and YouTube.
Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) was hopeful he could see the light at the end of a very long tunnel a couple of days ago in Emmerdale, but now that light has disappeared.
In an attempt to help an imprisoned Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), Bear managed to recall a number plate he hid for Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) when he was on the farm.
Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah) traced the number plate to a storage unit in the middle of Hotten.
In a race against time, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) and Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) headed over to try and find the one that belonged to Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths).
To their surprise, the group discovered the unit was full of evidence the police hadn’t processed.
Moira’s loved ones were hopeful the documents would prove her innocence, but DS Walsh (Amanda Ryan) explained that they couldn’t be used in court until they had been logged.
Fortunately, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) got to the court in time and informed Moira about the discovery, leading to her pleading not guilty at the trial.
Following the unearthing of more evidence, Bear Wolf was pulled back into the interview room for even more questioning.
Paddy hoped Walsh and her team had found something within that unit that would also work in Bear’s favour.
Unfortunately, that was far from the case.
DS Walsh explained that they’ve found documents confirming Ray set up a bank account in Bear’s name and began putting money in it.
Throughout this investigation, Bear has done a very good job at holding his own and sticking to the story, but he slips up when Walsh gets too close to the truth or he starts to get overwhelmed.
Sadly, that’s exactly what happened.
Bear made a comment about how Ray said that he’d always take care of him, which made it seem as though he knew about the bank account.
Suspicious, Walsh told Bear that they suspect Ray murdered Celia, and she’s beginning to wonder if he killed Ray to try and take control of the entire operation.

Bear was horrified, and the fact he was getting so irate only added to Walsh’s theory.
A while later, Bear was visited by Paddy.
Stressed and exhausted over the fact the police still don’t believe him, Bear lost his cool and couldn’t calm down.
Things got so bad, Bear had to be escorted back to his cell by two officers.
Has today’s episode basically sealed Bear’s fate?
How will he convince the jury at the upcoming trial that he is innocent?
