April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) and Dylan Penders’s (Fred Kettle) love has conquered all in Emmerdale, but their latest challenge could be the one to break them.

They’ve been inseparable since Dylan came to the village, surviving the evil clutches of Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) and Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) together.

They didn’t make it easy to survive – Ray tried to kill Dylan with his car, Celia tried to sex traffic April.

Yet their young love made them strong.

But the date of the trial is edging closer, and nerves are high.

Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards), Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), and Dylan are all facing charges and they all begin preparing for life as they know it to be shattered.

With a question mark for Dylan’s future hanging over him, there are big decisions to be made.

In a classically romantic but entirely heartbreaking and unnecessary decision, Dylan determines that he must let April go.

He sets about planning to end their relationship before the trial to set her free.

Marlon gets wind of Dylan’s plan to dump and ghost her and immediately spills all to April.

April has proven time and time again that she is no walkover and won’t be brushed to the side.
