Man who suffered ‘life-changing injuries’ in Soho club crash was security guard

A security guard was trying to move his e-scooter when he was mowed down by a Mercedes outside a London nightclub.

Anoosh Chaichy was standing next to influencer Klaudiaglam – whose real name is Klaudia Zakrzewska – when they were struck outside the Inca nightclub on Argyll Street at 4.30am on Sunday.

Miss Zazkrewska – who has a large fanbase on Instagram and TikTok – is fighting for her life in hospital following the crash.

Former X Factor finalist and influencer Gabrielle Carrington, 29, appeared in court on Tuesday charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, dangerous driving and drink driving.

Mr Chaichy, from Edgware, north London, appears to be a fitness fanatic who posts regular photos from the gym.

His account also has pictures of him working as a security guard for other venues in London, including cocktail bar Martello Hall and banquet hall in Hackney.

Footage circulating online shows a woman getting into a black car before it surges forward, striking Ms Zakrzewska who goes under the vehicle.

He was later seen slumped on the ground while Miss Zakrzewska lay motionless on the pavement.

The star had attended Inca nightclub on Saturday night with friends and is believed to have become involved in a heated argument outside the venue.

Miss Zakrzewska remains in a life-threatening condition in hospital, the Metropolitan Police said on Monday evening.

Carrington, of Manchester, has been charged with attempted murder, causing grievous bodily harm with intent, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, dangerous driving and drink driving.

She found fame when she reached the live finals of The X Factor in 2013 as part of the girl group Miss Dynamix.

At Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, Carrington, dressed in grey, stood with her hands on her hips as District Judge Nina Tempia remanded her in custody.

Carrington made a heart sign with her hands towards friends and family in the packed public gallery as she was led out of the dock and back to the cells.

She is accused of dangerous driving, being nearly twice the drink-drive limit, and causing injuries to two other people who were also hit by her Mercedes.

She did not enter any pleas during Tuesday’s court hearing.
