A few fan-favourites have already been confirmed as returning, including the Big Tasty and the Biscoff McFlurry.
But the fast food chain has another huge surprise in store for customers, as it’s just confirmed that two brand new burgers will also be joining the line-up.

Here’s everything you need to know:

McDonald’s announces two new versions of the McCrispy

Fans of the McCrispy are in for a real treat, as McDonald’s UK & Ireland is ‘levelling up’ the popular chicken burger, with two new variants.

The first is the Spicy McCrispy, which turns up the heat and sees a chicken breast in a crunchy coating, topped with iceberg lettuce and a creamy, spicy mayo that gives a ‘chilli kick’.

This is all served in a sourdough-style, sesame-topped bun and will cost £5.99 on its own, or £7.49 as part of a medium meal.

If you prefer something a little milder, then there’s a Cheese & Bacon McCrispy.

For this, the same crispy chicken breast is paired with black pepper mayo, cheese, bacon, and iceberg lettuce, inside a sourdough-style sesame-topped bun.

This option is a little pricer, as the burger alone is £7.09, while a medium meal will set you back £8.59.

The final new item is the Spicy Mayo, which people will be able to order as a standalone dip for 60p, to enjoy with everything from fries to McNuggets, and other burgers.

McDonald’s recommends pairing it with Chicken Selects, or going rogue and ordering it with Hash Browns at breakfast, to start the day in a different way, as it’s also going to be available at breakfast time.

All of the new items will be available to order nationwide from Tuesday, April 28.

POLL

Which McCrispy is going to be your favourite?

  • The OG

  • Spicy

  • Cheese & Bacon

  • Bring back the Chicken Legend!

Plus, there will be a fiery version of the Breakfast Wrap with the ketchup inside.

If you’re more of a burger lover, you might be pleased to hear the Big Tasty and the Double Big Tasty are also returning.

And the final savoury item is a cheesy one, as the Mozzarella Dippers are going to be available once more, paired with a salsa dip.

If that weren’t enough, 2025’s ‘drink of the summer’ is also back for another round in 2026.

The Frozen Cherry Lemonade, which went viral on TikTok last summer, combines ‘tangy’ frozen lemonade with a ‘deliciously sweet’ cherry-flavoured swirl.

And last, but not least, there’s the Chocolate Honeycomb Frappe, topped with cream and honeycomb pieces.

Those who want to try something different can sip new Sprite Zero Mixology drinks: Raspberry x Sprite Zero and Pineapple x Sprite Zero.
Each drink sees Sprite Zero mixed with a sugar-free fruit-flavoured syrup.

Unlike the new McCrispy range, these are all going to be limited-edition, so they’ll only be around for six weeks before disappearing.

So you’ll have to be quick if you want to try them.
