A second signalling fault on the rail network is causing major disruption for London commuters this morning.

Trains between Luton and London St Pancras International are running at reduced speeds due to a fault near Radlett, with delays of up to 45 minutes and cancellations expected until at least 1pm.

Some services may be delayed, cancelled, or revised by up to 45 minutes.

It comes after disruption at London Marylebone earlier on Wednesday, after another signalling system fault hit services during the morning rush.

As of 11am, the issue was continuing to delay Chiltern Railways services after the issue caused major rush-hour disruption.

National Rail is reporting that, while lines have now reopened, problems are expected to last until 11.30am.

Meanwhile, no issues were being reported on the London Underground .

Anyone travelling to these stations has been advised to take CrossCountry, Avanti West Coast, GWR, or LNWR services travelling north.
