Arsenal travel to Manchester City today knowing that they must produce a performanc worthy of winning the Premier League title.
This showdown will play a huge part in the race to become champions of England, with the Gunners leading the way by six points.
There are six games to play for Mikel Arteta’s men, but City have a game extra to play after this, when they take on Burnley in midweek next week.
The Gunners then stuttererd to a 0-0 draw with Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League quarter-finals, but Kai Havertz’s winner in Lisbon two weeks ago meant that they moved into the semi-finals on aggregate, where they will play Atletico Madrid.
City are in in-form, however, and this game could not come at a worse time for Arsenal, who have won just one of their last five fixtures.
In recent weeks, they lost out on their dream of a quadruple, with City beating them 2-0 at Wembley in the Carabao Cup final before Southampton shocked them 2-1 at St Mary’s in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
