Bernardo Silva will have no shortage of options when he leaves Manchester City at the end of the season.
The Portugal international arrived in Manchester from Monaco in a £43million deal in 2017 and has been an instrumental figure under Pep Guardiola over the last nine years.
The 31-year-old turned in an outstanding display against Arsenal on Sunday, one that could ensure he leaves the Etihad with another Premier League winners’ medal this summer.
Last week, it was announced he will leave the club at the end of his contract, leaving City with a huge hole to fill this summer when he departs as a free agent.
Silva has long been linked with a move to Barcelona with club president Joan Laoprta, re-elected last month, trying to sign the Portugal international has far back as 2022.
Latest odds from Betfair have a move to the Camp Nou at 7/2 but Benfica are the current favourites to sign the midfielder at 10/3.
Silva is a product of Benfica’s youth system, making his professional debut for the club at the age of 19 in 2013.
He made just a handful of appearances for the club before joining Monaco in 2014 on an initial loan-deal.
