EastEnders’ Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) is placed in mortal danger next week when derraged Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) takes deadly revenge against him as her obsession with his wife Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) takes a twisted turn.
Having wormed her way into the couple’s lives, she has done everything in her power to manipulate them so she can stay under their roof, and has also been using a fraudulent credit card in Honey’s name.
Amid all of this, Bea has also developed an unexpected romance with Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), helping him to campaign against Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) in the local council elections.
Next week, however, Bea’s dastardly deeds start to catch up with her when Honey starts to worry that someone has stolen her identity.
When Honey and Billy later ask Bea to confirm when she’s expecting to move out, she tells them she’s hoping to live with Ian at No.45.
However, those plans are scuppered when Ian’s ex Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) shows him Bea’s article in the Walford Gazette which names them as husband and wife, and he his jolted to his senses and calls time on their relationship.
Ian is shocked by Bea’s troubling reaction, and he soon discovers that she paid for votes in the council elections using a fraudulent credit card in Honey’s name.
Ian heads to No.18 to confront her in front of Honey, and eventually Bea confesses all to her shocked friend.
Confused and upset, Honey seeks advice about what to do from Kathy, Ian, Linda and Elaine in The Vic, but Ian is adamant that Honey shouldn’t call the police as he secretly fears her actions could jeopardise his council position.
EastEnders airs these scenes from Monday 11th May at 7.30pm on BBC One or stream first from 6am on iPlayer.
