British TikToker was placed in a medically induced coma this past December
British influencer Holly H is on the road to recovery after spending time in a medically induced coma .

On Sunday, the 29-year-old, known for sharing comedic and lifestyle content on social media , made her first post on Instagram since her near-fatal health scare in December 2025.

“Hi...

I’m alive,” she began.

“So it turns out I’m not invincible.

In December I suddenly became critically ill, was rushed into hospital, and placed into a coma.

I experienced extreme brain swelling and it was uncertain if I’d wake up again, but I was lucky enough to have a badass doctor and my incredible family by my side 24/7 fighting for me.”
She said that she’s had to relearn how to walk and how to use her hands.

“It’s been the hardest and scariest thing that’s ever happened to me,” Holly H continued, “and I’m so grateful to be here today.”
Addressing her followers, she said: “I missed you all so much and I’m insanely thankful for all of the love you’ve given me while I’ve been gone, it truly means the world to me.

“This experience has given me a whole new love for my life, my family, my friends, and the wonderful world we live in,” she concluded, reminding fans to “go do everything that makes you smile.

Life is so damn precious.”
She also included a photo of herself in a wheelchair with a nasal feeding tube at the hospital, surrounded by her parents and sister.

“We know how much she cares about you all, so we wanted to reassure everyone that she is getting the care that she needs.

Holly would like to wish you a Happy Christmas, enjoy the time with your family and friends and give each other an extra tight hug.

She also wishes you all a happy, healthy 2026.”
During her months-long silence, fans had grown concerned about her well-being.

“Does anyone know if she’s okay?” one commented.

“It’s been like 2 months?”
Holly H first rose to fame in 2015 through her Vine videos.

She later became Britain’s most-followed creator on Musical.ly (before it became TikTok), amassing more than 15 million followers.

Her debut single, “Tokyo,” was released in April last year, followed by her second track, “I Should Run,” in August.
